Alicia Keys joins the illustrious list of artists to go acoustic for MTV viewers when her episode of “Unplugged” debuts on MTV Overdrive on Thursday, September 15. The R&B star delivers a soulful, stripped-down set of old favorites and brand new songs, with the help of guests Common, Mos Def and Maroon 5′s Adam Levine. The show, which will hit MTV Friday, September 23, will be released as an album in October.
