Rod Stewart and Alicia Keys have been added to VH1’s ‘Save The Music: A Concert to Benefit the Save The Music Foundation’.

Stewart and Keys will join Rob Thomas, Joss Stone, Queen Latifah and John Legend at the event to raise money to help restore musical instruments for American schools and students.

Save The Music, which was created in 1997, has so far raised more than $30 million.

Nearly 1200 schools in 80 cities and 500,000 children have benefited from the project.

The concert will be held on April 17 at New York City’s Beacon Theater.
