Charlotte Church has enlisted the help of Alicia Keys to boost her difficult transition from opera to pop – the pair are set to record a duet.
Welsh soprano Church, 18, met Fallin’ beauty Keys in America – where she’s currently working on tracks for her debut mainstream collection – and the unlikely duo struck up an immediate friendship, as well as an urge to work together.
And the music stars are so eager to combine their singing talents in the studio, they’re even contemplating finding a gap in their schedules to record a tune in time for Christmas.
A source says, “They both want to do it, it’s just about when they can get into the studio. They are desperate to work together.”
