Alicia and Bono, the front man of U2 have revealed a blossoming friendship together after they teamed up for the Tribeca film festival’s premiere of British-made documentary “we are together”, about the musical aspirations of the children of South Africa’s Agape orphanage.

Alicia said: “we want to be the voice of people who are voiceless at times and I think that’s what connects us,” She also admits that she often looks to Bono for advice. “I love to be called and I love to call him as well - I learn a lot from him,” said Alicia of Bono, who in turn joked that she’s fast becoming Batman to his Robin.
