Halle Berry has secured the services of Alicai Keys for her upcoming movie production, Composition of Black + White.

After months of speculation, Berry has secured the rights to Kathryn Talalay’s novel about inter-racial pioneer Philippa Schuylerand she has asked R+B sensation Keys to make her movie debut in the lead role.

Berry says, “I adore Alicia and there’s nobody more perfect for it than her.”

Keys responds by stating, “It’s a pretty big honour for me.”

The Oscar winner will produce the movie. It is not known whether she’ll appear in it too.
