Alicia has spoken out and says that she hates the idea of women starving themselves to achieve the controversial size zero figure. She is annoyed with the size zero culture and thinks women should appreciate what they have. Alicia says, “I think that’s total trash. I think that a woman is so much her curves and her many styles. We come in all packages and we are who we are and I definitely don’t like it when young girls feel like they have to totally starve themselves.”
“I think it’s not attractive either, actually. Definitely not healthy.”

Well, if you were young and not that confident in your body image you tend to follow what is accepted in society. Normally that is a slim woman and what you see in magazines. It takes strength as a young girl to understand that we all ‘come in different shapes and sizes’. It’s easy for people to say when they are comfortable with their image. I have a sister who is quite slim, but that is her physique. She doesn’t starve herself to be like that…but unffortunately people believe she does because they think there is no naturally slim person in this world. She is treated like she has a mental problem when she has nothing wrong with her. All these issues are the fault of society, and trying to fit in. I don’t want to be a part of a fake group of people thank you very much!

It has been a joy to watch Alicia evolved and show how beautiful a woman can be whether she is sporting a one of a kind gown cut down to there or jeans and a t-shirt. Being a thick multi-racial woman, I have grown to love the shape of my body and to enhance it through good eating, exercise and an active lifestyle. Girl, you are on hit and thank you for workin those thick legs of yours!!!!
