Alicia Keys told a US music show how she once silenced U2 rocker Bono.

The singer, 26, revealed to MTV’s TRL, that Bono was speechless when she honored him with an award at an annual ball Keys threw for her Keep A Child Alive charity.

Keys said: “We honored him at my organization’s black ball for Keep A Child Alive. We did this show with Gwen Stefani and Sheryl Crow and he was blown away. I have to say that was the only time I have ever seen him speechless - because he likes to talk!”
