Destiny’s Child, Alicia Keys, Kanye West and John Legend are among the acts confirmed for the 2005 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans this summer. The festival takes place July 1-3 at the Louisiana Superdome and also features Floetry, Talib Kweli, Jeffrey Osborne, The Wailers, Regina Belle and Vivian Green. And just added to the lineup: legendary Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
