Alicia Keys has been cast in director duo Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini’s big screen adaptation of bestseller The Nanny Diaries for The Weinstein Company, says Variety. The film stars Scarlett Johansson as a working-class woman from New Jersey who becomes a nanny to a wealthy Manhattan family. Keys takes on the role of Johansson’s best friend. Keys has just wrapped Joe Carnahan’s Smokin’ Aces, for Working Title and Universal. She stars opposite Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman, Don Cheadle and Peter Berg. “Diaries” has already booked Chris Evans, Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti and Donna Murphy. The film, which begins shooting in New York this month, is based on Nicola Kraus and Emma McLaughlin’s popular satirical novel. Keys will also appear in the action comedy “Smokin’ Aces,” starring Ben Affleck and Don Cheadle. |

Hello there,
Sometimes i really wonder about you and how’s everything going in your life. don’t get this the wrong way! Not a day goes by that i don’t think about you. I DO! YOU are Always on my mind. Last night i went against my better judgement and purchase your unplugged cd and read what was written. (Recently i found out i have a half brother in East Village that look like ME! I’m looking to talk to him because he doesn’t really know he’s my half brother born with the same father. His father is not really his father that’s why he’s light skinned. I seen him once by the phone booth by the Boys Club.

when a listen your music a feel like am in the same room with you and its soothing you no….your one of the few artists who sing from the heart and thats just makes you even more specialyou are unique and beautiful I wish you could have made it the our music festival but you are a busy woman so its ight the St.Kitts Music festival needs your music to make it even better.well maybe next time
