Pop star Alicia Keys is all set to create history by performing at the first concert ever to be staged at the Great Wall of China.

According to rate the music, Alicia has agreed to sing at the invitation-only ‘Wall Of Hope 2004′ charity show on September 25 to raise funds for the China Children and Teenagers Fund.

The musical extravaganza will be performed for a 10,000 strong audience at the Ju Yong Guan gate in Beijing and will be filmed for global TV audiences by ‘Live Aid’ producer Hal Uplinger.

The concert is one in a series to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Great Wall restoration project and more top names are expected to be announced in the following weeks. (ANI)
