Alicia has been working hard on her third and highly anticipated studio album entitled As I Am, which is due for release on October 23, 2007. Alicia Keys has not released a full new album since 2003 with The Diary of Alicia Keys. Alicia recently spoke to MTV about As I Am and said, “It’s coming together incredibly. I am in love with this album. It’s very fresh and new”.
The album is said to feature John Mayer on two songs — “Lesson Learned” and “Heavy Times“. John Legend, Linda Perry, Timbaland, and Marsha Ambrosius of the UK London band Floetry will also collaborate with Keys.

Titles revealed so far have been “Superwoman“, “Savior“, “Reckless“, “Like You’ll Never See Me Again“, and “Sweet Tooth“.

Alicia Keys walked the red carpet, and performed, at Samsung’s Four Seasons Of Hope Gala to Benefit the Keep a Child Alive Foundation, held yesterday in New York City. Check out the HQ pictures in the gallery.

Instead of the usual single cover for an issue of Vanity Fair, there are 20. Bono acted as a guest editor for July’s Africa-themed issue and has selected a host of celebrities to grace it’s covers, choosing people based on there charitable link to the continent. Alicia Keys was of course one of the celebrities selected, along with Jay-Z, Madonna, Oprah Winfrey, Djimon Hounsou, Chris Rock, to name a few.
